Jaqueline has been absolutely incredible with my fearful and reactive pup! I went into training thinking that my dog might be beyond help, but after 3 sessions the progress exceeded anything I could have imagined! We are able to take her out and about, welcome company into our home, and enjoy so many things that I never thought possible! I can’t recommend Jaqueline enough :)
Jacqueline has an amazing understanding of a wide range of complex dog issues. I came to her with my high anxiety, quirky cattle dog to address some gaps in our at home training. She helped us understand where we were missing connections & how to manage various stressors in daily life. She has helped expand Harley’s world so much & helped me to recognize techniques that may be useful in redirection, all while working towards building my dog’s confidence in a variety of environments! We consulted Jacqueline to help with a few issues we were having with our dog (aggression with strangers coming into our home as well as trying to help our and family members dogs get along). Our dog is a rescue with unknown history and we have done a lot of different training methods without much success. Jaqueline’s approach has been completely different and we have a structured plan now of what we do when people come over. Some of our dogs behaviors are embarrassing and I have never felt judged in any way. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend her!
When we rescued our girl, Mollie, she was terrified and showing aggressive tendencies towards other dogs in the family. After 3 training sessions and a lot of practice, Mollie has made so much progress! She has gained confidence in her environment and is doing great with other dogs. I have had dogs my entire life and I can’t believe how much I didn’t know about dog behavior. We never felt any judgement and she helped us SO much. We could not recommend her more!!
Jacqueline has been beyond amazing helping us with our two greyhounds — Margot and Indy. She realized that Margot’s aggression may be pain related. We went to the vet and found some back issues. We started her on some medication and her aggression has decreased significantly. Plus we have been doing some great training for mobility, warnings for sharing space and wait and stay. The dogs absolutely love her!
Jacqueline has helped our adorable but dog-reactive Lenny calmly get a hold of himself for once! Our boy would cause a lot of trouble when other dogs came near our house and would even jump the fence to get to them, resulting in two different bite situations. Thankfully, Jacqueline taught us how to teach Lenny that other dogs walking by doesn’t have to be a scary or stressful experience. She’s even helped manage the relationship between Lenny and our other dog Emma. Lenny has showed so much improvement!
I would highly recommend Jacqueline to anyone with training needs. She has helped us tremendously with our mini aussie Maverick. When we first started we were desperate (used another dog trainer with e-collar training which made his behaviors unmanageable) and with her guidance Maverick is now living a much happier life. Previously, Maverick was unable to even see a dog from a distance without going crazy and now we are able to go on walks and pass by other dogs without any reactive behaviors. Jacqueline is one of the best.
Jacqueline was absolutely amazing in training our Winnie. We were a little worried as we adopted Winnie and she had some reactive behavior — she was amazing with us just not strangers. After working with Jacqueline she is a lot more relaxed and comfortable around people. We adopted two dogs from a rescue and started to notice quite a bit of anxiety and fear reactivity/aggression. Her approach is strictly fear/force free, positive reinforcement. She had us pick just a couple of areas to focus on to start, complete with “homework” for us to work on with our pups until the next appointment. We have seen significant improvement in all of our areas of concern in a short amount of time… just 2 months and 3 sessions. We happily recommend Jacqueline to anyone for their training needs.
Jacqueline is an excellent trainer. She patiently helped us reign in our wild golden and taught us how to get Luna to be less jumpy, and gave us lots of help with getting our terrier mix less reactive on walks. I really appreciated how nonjudgmental Jacqueline was — we did not always do the daily training we should’ve in between sessions but she never shamed us. Every interaction was very positive. I fully recommend her!
Wow, what a Godsend Jacqueline was. I was so unsure picking a trainer for my fear/reactive dog. Didn’t want to cause more harm than good and didn’t think an e-collar was good for my dog. So glad we found her! My pup just loves her. Didn’t think I could learn that much after having dogs for 40+ years… boy was I wrong! Just finished up training session 4 last night. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect so much progress in such a short amount of time. We went from a dog that was so reactive to door knocks that she was out of control and heard nothing we said, to a dog that checks in with us and will stay on her bed while we answer the door. Jacqueline is very knowledgeable and patient, not only with the dogs but with teaching all family members as well!
Jacqueline has been a game-changer for our household! We have two rescue fur babies with different behavior/training needs. I have a 4 year old English Mastiff, Remy, who has a lot of fear issues, and she and I recently moved from the country to the city. She grew up with another EM in the house who didn’t move with us, which added to Remy’s anxiety. Jacqueline is an exceptional dog trainer! I enrolled my 2-year-old pit bull terrier in her “out of town” Hybrid program. We faced challenges with his overexcited behavior at doggie daycare, but Jacqueline helped create a plan assisting both the daycare and myself to reintegrate Dylan back into daycare. Her friendly approach made the sessions enjoyable, and the post-training write-ups were invaluable. Highly recommended!
We are five training sessions in for our five month old Husky. Jacqueline has superseded our expectations for a trainer. She is punctual, calm, organized and VERY creative to ensure she meets the needs of the client. Jacqueline encourages communication by email, phone and/or text in between sessions too!! I would highly recommend Jacqueline for behavioral dog training. She is wonderful to work with and an excellent resource! She thoroughly explains the reason(s) behind the unwanted behavior and only uses positive reinforcement steps and methods for correcting. Detailed notes of what we went over during each training session and homework is provided. We have made great progress with our German Shepherd puppy so far!

Jacqueline has been awesome. We rescued a young English Bulldog, Gidget, and she has had a lot of anxiety and disruptive behaviors. Jacqueline put together a care plan for our little devil dog and helped us as dog parents learn how to train Gidget, focusing on routines that centered around her triggers. Very much recommended for thorough, client centered service to help our little bully-potato feel more secure in her own home.
Jacqueline helped me work with my foster dog, Titus, who was fearful of new people, places and loud noises. She was so patient with him and always knew exactly what to do to make him comfortable and confident. Jacqueline was referred to us by a group trainer in Petco when the trainer identified our little guy needed special attention. Our little yellow dog has made nothing short of immense progress. He had a severe case of stranger danger for having come from multiple homes and rescues, and Jacqueline’s approach has totally helped him. Jacqueline has been wonderful to work with in training Pipin, our little Havanese puppy — ok really his family of people! We have struggled with our dog Darla for a long time and after a few weeks of training we are seeing a huge difference.
